Job Description
- Take charge of our client's attorney recruitment efforts, including lateral hires and summer associate programs.
- Create and implement strategies to elevate our client's recruiting brand and market presence.
- Oversee the seamless onboarding and integration of attorneys to ensure a smooth transition.
- Develop and manage professional development programs to support attorney growth.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to evaluate hiring needs and devise long-term talent strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with law schools, legal recruiters, and industry professionals.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations in all recruiting endeavors.
- Monitor and report on recruiting metrics, diversity initiatives, and retention strategies.
- Supervise recruitment support staff and provide opportunities for their professional development.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in attorney recruiting or professional development, preferably in a law firm.
- Bachelor's degree required; certification in recruitment, retention, or professional development is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to devise and execute innovative recruiting strategies.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, legal recruiting software, and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
