Job Description

Our client is in search of an experienced General Manager to oversee their bustling cocktail bar and restaurant. This role is different from a standard restaurant GM position, as it requires someone who excels in a beverage-focused, nightlife-oriented environment.

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of a busy cocktail bar and dinner service
• Inspire and lead a team composed of front-of-house and back-of-house staff
• Manage labor and beverage costs using strategic and analytical thinking
• Maintain high service standards and deliver a memorable guest experience
• Ensure smooth coordination across departments, particularly during peak hours
• Create schedules and close the restaurant 3-4 nights per week, working Wednesday–Sunday
• Handle performance evaluations, compliance, and quality control measures
• Report directly to ownership and collaborate with corporate support

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a General Manager in a high-volume bar or cocktail-focused venue
• Background in craft cocktails and beverage management
• Strong understanding of labor reports, profit and loss (P&L), and cost control
• Hands-on leadership style with a team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working late hours, especially on weekends (venue operates until 2–3am)
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and a deep passion for nightlife culture
