Trust Administration Paralegal

Job Description
- Support lawyers in all facets of trust administration to ensure adherence to legal and procedural standards.
- Prepare trust administration paperwork, including trust certifications, trustee notifications, and legal affidavits.
- Manage the transfer of real estate properties, such as grant deeds, affidavits, and related assessor forms.
- Collaborate with trustees, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other professionals during the trust administration process.
- Create estate valuation reports, asset inventories, and trust funding documentation.
- Aid in trust distributions by preparing distribution summaries, waivers, and receipts.
- Draft and submit probate-related documents as required.
- Maintain precise client records, case notes, and deadlines in legal case management software.
- Provide administrative assistance by scanning, filing, and organizing trust administration documents.
- Participate in regular team meetings and engage in continuous legal education.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Paralegal Certificate program.
- Preferably, at least three years of experience in trust administration.
- Sound understanding of estate planning, trust administration, and relevant legal procedures.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
- California Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain one.
