Job Description

  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists in delivering occupational therapy treatments
  • Aid patients in enhancing mobility, strength, and independence in daily tasks
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
  • Adjust treatment plans under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions
  • Supervise support staff and therapy technicians
  • Work with a diverse patient population of varying ages and backgrounds
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives and marketing activities

Qualifications

  • Hold an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Wyoming or eligible to acquire one
  • Familiarity with upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatment approaches
  • Excellent communication and patient care abilities
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment
