Job Description
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists in delivering occupational therapy treatments
- Aid patients in enhancing mobility, strength, and independence in daily tasks
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
- Adjust treatment plans under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions
- Supervise support staff and therapy technicians
- Work with a diverse patient population of varying ages and backgrounds
- Engage in community outreach initiatives and marketing activities
Qualifications
- Hold an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Wyoming or eligible to acquire one
- Familiarity with upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatment approaches
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment
