TITLE: Registered Nurse - Multi-Specialty practitioner

Job Description:
- Provides general nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
- Utilizes AIDET communication method with patients, visitors, staff, and other departments
- Greets visitors and escorts them to their destination
- Coordinates with Charge Nurse for patient assignments and updates communication board
- Performs assessments on assigned patients and documents in real-time
- Monitors patients throughout shift, notifies providers of changes, and keeps supervisors informed
- Administers medications and treatments as directed by physicians
- Educates patients and families, documenting education in electronic chart
Qualifications:
- Must be a registered nurse in the state of Kansas
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or equivalent
- Six months to one year of related experience preferred
Compensation and Hours:
- Full-time position, three nights a week, 7p-730a, every other weekend, rotating holidays
- Salary range from $30-$58/hr, with shift differentials
- Benefits package includes sign-on/relocation bonus and tuition reimbursement
