- Take charge of the family law practice, overseeing attorneys and staff
- Manage case strategies from inception to resolution, focusing on intricate divorce, custody, and support cases
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations
- Ensure top-notch client satisfaction and promptly address all client inquiries
- Establish and enforce office policies, procedures, and financial management, including billing and collections
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss case progress and enhance office efficiency
Qualifications
- Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of the Maryland Bar
- At least 8 years of experience in family law, including divorce, custody, and support cases
- Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role, with experience leading a legal team
- Strong background in litigation and courtroom procedures
- Excellent skills in client communication and relationship management
- Strategic thinker capable of efficiently managing a high caseload
- Proficiency in legal research and case management software
