Job Description
- Conduct legal and regulatory analysis on local, state, and federal environmental laws.
- Manage cases related to Florida Statutes Chapters 373 and 403, the Clean Water Act, and relevant regulations.
- Represent clients in administrative hearings, including those before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.
- Prepare precise legal analyses, documents, and pleadings.
- Work independently and collaboratively on complex cases involving environmental, land use, and local government law.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in environmental law focusing on federal and state regulations.
- Active membership with the Florida Bar.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Preference for experience with regulatory agencies or local government.
- Strong skills in legal research, drafting, and oral and written communication.
- Experience in land use and local government law is a bonus.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
