Construction Attorney
Note: This position allows for a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office at one of our client’s locations in Syracuse, Rochester, or Binghamton, NY and two days remote.
**Relocation to a commutable distance from one of the offices is required.**

Job Description
- Provide legal counsel to school districts and BOCES on capital construction projects
- Negotiate and draft contracts with architects and construction managers
- Support clients in preparing bid documents, awarding contracts, and finalizing projects
- Offer legal guidance throughout the construction administration process
- Resolve any disputes arising from public construction projects
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed attorney in New York
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction law
- Familiarity with AIA Contract Documents
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and advocacy abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
