Job Description

• Conduct legal and regulatory analysis and provide guidance on environmental laws at the local, state, and federal levels, including compliance and permitting.
• Handle cases related to the Florida Statutes Chapters 373 and 403, the Clean Water Act, and associated regulations.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, including proceedings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.
• Produce precise legal analyses, draft documents, and prepare pleadings.
• Work independently and collaboratively on complex cases involving environmental law, land use, and local government law.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental law, with expertise in both federal and state regulations.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Preferred experience with regulatory agencies or local government.
• Strong skills in legal research, complex drafting, and effective oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of land use and local government law is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively managing multiple priorities.
