Job Description

• Deliver legal and regulatory analysis and guidance on local, state, and federal environmental laws, including compliance and permitting.
• Handle environmental matters related to pertinent chapters of the Florida Statutes, the Clean Water Act, and associated regulations.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, including proceedings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.
• Produce precise legal analyses, draft documents, and pleadings.
• Manage complex cases independently and collaboratively involving environmental, land use, and local government law.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in environmental law, specializing in federal and state regulations.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Preference for experience with regulatory agencies or local government.
• Excellent skills in legal research, complex drafting, and oral and written communication.
• Experience in land use and local government law is advantageous.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
