Job Description

• Conduct thorough legal analysis and provide guidance on environmental laws at the local, state, and federal levels, focusing on compliance and permitting.
• Manage cases involving Chapters 373 and 403 of the Florida Statutes, the Clean Water Act, and relevant regulations.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, including those before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.
• Create precise legal documents, advanced analyses, and pleadings independently and in conjunction with colleagues.
• Collaborate on intricate cases involving environmental, land use, and local government law.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in environmental law focusing on federal and state regulations.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar with good standing.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Preferably, experience working with regulatory agencies or local government.
• Strong skills in legal research, drafting complex documents, and effective communication both written and oral.
• Experience in land use and local government law is a bonus.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently.
