Job Description

• Conduct comprehensive legal and regulatory analysis and provide counseling on environmental laws at the local, state, and federal levels, encompassing permitting and compliance.
• Manage cases related to the Clean Water Act and Florida Statutes Chapters 373 and 403, along with associated regulations.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, including proceedings held by the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings.
• Prepare precise legal analyses, as well as draft documents and pleadings.
• Independently and collaboratively handle complex cases involving environmental law, land use, and local government law.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in environmental law, specializing in federal and state regulations.
• Active membership with the Florida Bar.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Preferred experience working with regulatory agencies or local government.
• Proficiency in legal research, adeptness in complex drafting, and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Added advantage: familiarity with land use and local government law.
• Self-motivated, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
