Job Description

• Act as a representative for clients in various family law cases, including mediation, meetings, and courtroom appearances.
• Create effective legal strategies and provide expert legal representation.
• Collaborate within a team-oriented environment to achieve favorable resolutions for families.
• Manage cases predominantly in Clinton, Essex, Franklin, and Warren Counties.
• Work closely with the firm's owner and staff to meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney, preferably admitted to the New York State Bar.
• Possess a minimum of one year of litigation experience in a courtroom setting (Family Law experience is not mandatory).
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and work independently.
• Proficiency in legal technology including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Westlaw.
