Job Description

• Our client is in search of a skilled Legal Counsel to join their municipal government department. This role will focus on public sector law, emphasizing:
• Handling public contracting, procurement, and affordable housing cases
• Preparing resolutions, contracts, legal opinions, and other legal documents
• Providing advice on employment, labor, and municipal issues to public bodies
• Attending public meetings, hearings, and offering legal counsel to clients

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of legal experience
• A strong background in municipal government law in New Jersey
• An active New Jersey law license
• Excellent legal drafting and research abilities
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and take charge of significant legal matters
