Job Description

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Attorney/Partner to join their municipal government department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling public contracting, procurement, and affordable housing matters
  • Drafting resolutions, ordinances, contracts, agreements, and legal opinions
  • Providing advisory services on employment, labor, and other municipal issues to public bodies
  • Attending public meetings, hearings, and offering legal guidance to clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney
  • Strong expertise in municipal government law in New Jersey
  • Admission to practice law in New Jersey (required)
  • Excellent legal drafting and research skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and take ownership of significant matters
