Attorney – Workers’ Compensation

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the XYZ office.

Job Description

  • Take charge of a caseload from initial consultation until resolution.
  • Participate in all aspects of discovery and litigation.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, trials, and related procedures.
  • Ensure proactive case management, including regular file reviews and prompt settlement demands.
  • Conduct client intakes and process them efficiently.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to assigned case workers, fostering their development.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Juris Doctorate degree and possess an active California State Bar license.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in Workers' Compensation or Social Security Disability law.
  • Strong preference for applicant side workers' comp experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Show exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Exhibit proficiency in negotiation and sound judgment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
