• Assist physicians in performing invasive procedures, such as cardiac catheterization, vascular angiograms, and pacemaker implants.
• Assess and document patient history, including clinical presentation, vital signs, and medication information.
• Establish and maintain intravenous (IV) access according to physician's orders.
• Administer prescribed medications under direct supervision, including moderate sedation medications and cardiac medications during procedures.
• Follow principles of sterile technique to ensure infection control.
• Provide post-procedure and discharge instructions to patients and their caregivers.
• Perform radiographic procedures using specialized equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans and interventions.
• Deliver relevant healthcare education to patients and their families.

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program, with knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and radiation physics.
• Current radiographer license from the State of Ohio Department of Health and A.R.R.T. registration as an R.T.
• Preferred: Advanced Registry from A.R.R.T. in Cardiovascular (CV), Cardiac Intervention (CI), or Vascular Intervention (VI).
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of employment.
• Preferred: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
