Job Description

  • Collaborate with an Occupational Therapist to administer occupational therapy treatments.
  • Aid patients in enhancing mobility, strength, and independence in their daily activities.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans and progress.
  • Follow and adapt treatment plans according to the Occupational Therapist's directions.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient sessions and documentation.
  • Oversee therapy technicians and provide support to staff.
  • Engage with patients from various backgrounds and age groups.
  • Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Possess an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting.
  • Hold a valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Wyoming or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proficient in upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
  • Able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
