Job Description
- Collaborate with an Occupational Therapist to administer occupational therapy treatments.
- Aid patients in enhancing mobility, strength, and independence in their daily activities.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans and progress.
- Follow and adapt treatment plans according to the Occupational Therapist's directions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient sessions and documentation.
- Oversee therapy technicians and provide support to staff.
- Engage with patients from various backgrounds and age groups.
- Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Possess an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting.
- Hold a valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Wyoming or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficient in upper extremity, pediatric, and neurological treatments.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
- Able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
