Job Description:

• Performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures using specialized equipment to capture detailed images of the human anatomy
• Assisting physicians and radiologists during examinations by administering contrast media and providing support as needed
• Greeting and addressing patients, verifying orders, explaining procedures, and positioning patients for exams
• Preparing and operating MRI equipment in accordance with established protocols and radiation protection guidelines
• Reporting any concerns or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and assisting with stocking and cleaning of examination rooms
• Completing necessary paperwork, ensuring proper identification and storage of exams
• Participating in quality control and quality assurance studies
• Assisting the supervising radiologist with administrative tasks
• Enforcing radiation safety principles

Qualifications:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of one year of previous experience preferred
