TITLE: Cytotechnology Specialist

Location: Buckeye Lake, OH

Job Description:

• Evaluate pap smears using a microscope as the primary duty.
• Assist with processing Non GYN specimens, conducting final needle aspirates, and evaluating Non GYN specimens.
• Handle pap smear registration, accessioning, processing, staining, and stainer maintenance.
• Cover for support staff during their absence or when needed based on volume.
• Work with state-of-the-art Thin Prep processors, Thin Prep imager, Leica stainer, and SoftPath.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program with CT (ASCP) certification.
• Experience in GYN/non-GYN screenings and fine needle procedures.
• Knowledge of Cytology specimen processing is a plus.
