Director of Attorney Recruiting

Job Description

  • Spearhead the firm's attorney recruitment initiatives, including lateral hires and summer associate programs.
  • Create and implement strategies to enhance the firm's recruiting brand and market presence.
  • Oversee the seamless onboarding and integration of new attorneys.
  • Develop and manage professional development programs to support attorney growth.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to evaluate hiring needs and long-term talent strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with law schools, legal recruiters, and industry professionals.
  • Ensure strict compliance with firm policies and legal regulations in all recruitment efforts.
  • Monitor and report on recruiting metrics, diversity initiatives, and retention strategies.
  • Supervise and provide professional development opportunities for recruitment support staff.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in attorney recruitment or professional development, preferably within a law firm setting.
  • Bachelor's degree required; certification in recruitment, retention, or professional development is a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, legal recruiting software, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented, with proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively.
