Job Description

  • Lead our client's attorney recruitment efforts, including lateral hires and summer associate programs.
  • Create and implement strategies to enhance our client's recruiting brand and market presence.
  • Oversee the seamless transition of attorneys during the onboarding and integration process.
  • Develop and manage professional development programs to support attorney growth.
  • Collaborate with our client's leadership to assess hiring needs and long-term talent strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with law schools, legal recruiters, and industry professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations throughout all recruitment efforts.
  • Manage and report on recruiting metrics, diversity initiatives, and retention strategies.
  • Supervise a team and provide professional development opportunities for recruitment support staff.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in attorney recruitment or professional development, preferably in a law firm.
  • Bachelor's degree required; certification in recruitment, retention, or professional development is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, effective communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing innovative recruiting strategies.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, legal recruiting software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
