Job Description
- Lead our client's attorney recruitment efforts, including lateral hires and summer associate programs.
- Create and implement strategies to enhance our client's recruiting brand and market presence.
- Oversee the seamless transition of attorneys during the onboarding and integration process.
- Develop and manage professional development programs to support attorney growth.
- Collaborate with our client's leadership to assess hiring needs and long-term talent strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with law schools, legal recruiters, and industry professionals.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations throughout all recruitment efforts.
- Manage and report on recruiting metrics, diversity initiatives, and retention strategies.
- Supervise a team and provide professional development opportunities for recruitment support staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in attorney recruitment or professional development, preferably in a law firm.
- Bachelor's degree required; certification in recruitment, retention, or professional development is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, effective communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing innovative recruiting strategies.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, legal recruiting software, and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
