Director of Attorney Recruiting

  • Direct and oversee our client's attorney recruitment efforts, including lateral hires and summer associate programs.
  • Create and execute strategies to enhance our client's recruitment brand and market presence.
  • Manage the attorney onboarding and integration process to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Develop and implement professional development programs to support attorney growth.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to evaluate hiring needs and long-term talent strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with law schools, legal recruiters, and industry professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and legal regulations in all recruitment activities.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, diversity initiatives, and retention strategies.
  • Supervise the recruitment support staff and provide opportunities for professional development.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in attorney recruitment or professional development, preferably in a law firm.
  • Bachelor's degree required; certification in recruitment, retention, or professional development is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to devise and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, legal recruiting software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented with effective project management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative fast-paced environments.
