Our client is a fast-growing drywall contractor based in Terrell, TX. With a reputation for quality and a full pipeline of commercial projects, they are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator who’s ready to join a small but mighty team and hit the ground running.

Job Description

• Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial drywall projects
• Analyze blueprints, scope of work, and bid documents
• Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal team members
• Submit competitive bids on time
• Assist with value engineering and project handoff
• Report daily to office in Terrell, TX
• Hours: Mon–Thurs 7 a.m.–4 p.m., Fri 7 a.m.–12 p.m.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial drywall estimating
• Must have estimating experience with Onscreen Takeoff and Quick Bid software (or similar estimating software experience, ie., PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, STACK)
• Strong understanding of takeoffs and pricing methods
• Comfortable reading construction drawings and bid specs
• U.S. citizenship required
• Existing client relationships a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
