Job Description

  • Join our dynamic Trial and Litigation Practice Group, focusing primarily on eminent domain cases.
  • Engage in all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, handling motion practice, participating in trials, and handling appeals.
  • Afford representation to public and private clients in connection with land acquisition for large-scale infrastructure developments, such as transit systems and stadiums.
  • Undertake comprehensive legal research, craft motions, and develop effective trial strategies.
  • Participate actively in depositions, witness interviews, and evidence collection processes.

Qualifications

  • Hold 4-7 years of litigation experience (preferably in eminent domain or real estate/real property).
  • Possess strong skills in research, writing, and analysis.
  • Demonstrate proven expertise in law and motion practice, including handling dispositive motions.
  • Capable of building a solid case for trial, which encompasses managing discovery, conducting depositions, and conducting witness interviews.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in California.
