Job Description
- Conduct thorough assessments of estate planning needs and provide tailored recommendations to prospective and existing clients.
- Create and review estate planning documents, ensuring they meet client objectives and comply with current laws.
- Guide clients through the engagement process, including discussing fees and collecting payments.
- Hold client meetings to review, update, and finalize estate plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meetings, and legal documents.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone and email.
- Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to deliver comprehensive estate planning solutions.
- Stay up to date with estate planning, trust, and probate laws to ensure compliance and employ best practices.
- Participate in regular attorney meetings and firm-wide meetings to discuss complex cases and legal updates.
Qualifications
- Must have an active California State Bar license.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of estate, gift, and income tax laws.
- Preference for State Bar Certified Specialist in Trusts, Wills & Probate.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and client management skills.
- Proficiency in legal technology and case management systems.
