Job Description:

• Take charge of the kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
• Innovate and create distinctive menus that embody the Cuban-Caribbean fusion concept.
• Oversee inventory management, including ingredient sourcing and ordering, while controlling costs.
• Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a sanitized kitchen.
• Work closely with event coordinators to organize and execute private parties and special events.
• Monitor labor costs and adjust staffing levels to meet varying demand periods.

Qualifications:

• Preferably possess a culinary arts degree; Certified Executive Chef (CEC) certification is a desirable asset.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an executive chef role.
• Demonstrated expertise in Cuban and Caribbean cuisines is a plus but not mandatory.
• Display strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Show commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
