As the Head Chef, you will have the opportunity to oversee the kitchen operations at two interconnected venues located just blocks apart.
Job Description
Our client is currently looking for a dynamic Head Chef to lead the culinary teams in these two distinct, high-concept kitchens. This role offers the chance to unleash your creative potential, shape the culinary direction, and thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
- Take charge of the kitchen operations across two connected venues with shared resources.
- Mentor and inspire two teams, working together on a unified line.
- Exhibit your culinary creativity by managing menu execution and cost control.
- Collaborate with autonomy and provide strategic input in menu development.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency during high-volume service.
- Manage kitchen budgets, labor, food cost, and operational processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance standards in both kitchens.
- Flexibility in working hours, depending on service needs, for five days a week.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef for 5+ years or demonstrated strong Sous Chef experience in Michelin-starred or noteworthy kitchens.
- Exceptional leadership skills in managing kitchen teams and operations.
- Proficiency in food cost control, labor budgets, and kitchen financials.
- Strong creative vision and the ability to innovate within brand guidelines.
- Adaptable and hands-on approach in a collaborative, high-energy kitchen environment.
