Executive Chef – High-Volume Multi-Concept Kitchen

Note: This role requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Chicago, IL cocktail bar/restaurants and corporate office (same location).

Job Description
Our client is in search of an Executive Chef who is ready to embrace creative freedom, shape culinary direction, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Direct kitchen operations across two venues with shared resources
  • Lead and guide two teams working alongside each other
  • Inject culinary creativity into menu execution and cost control strategies
  • Participate in menu development with the autonomy to provide strategic input
  • Maintain quality, consistency, and efficiency during high-volume service periods
  • Manage kitchen budgets, labor, food costs, and operational procedures
  • Enforce cleanliness and compliance standards in both kitchens
  • Be available to work flexible hours based on service demands, five days weekly

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or strong Sous Chef experience in renowned kitchens
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing kitchen teams and operations
  • Proficiency in food cost control, labor budgets, and kitchen financial management
  • A strong creative vision and the ability to innovate within established brand guidelines
  • Hands-on adaptability within a collaborative, high-energy kitchen setting
