Job Description
- Seeking an experienced attorney to provide guidance to colleges and universities on regulatory compliance and business operations
- Responsibilities include advising on state and federal regulations, handling mergers and acquisitions, providing governance counsel, assisting with contract negotiations, and more
- Collaborating with firm leadership to develop creative legal strategies for clients
Qualifications
- Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school
- New Jersey Bar admission required
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in higher education or regulatory compliance
- Strong background in transactional matters and mergers
- Experience representing colleges or universities is a plus
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
