Our client is seeking skilled and experienced labor and employment attorneys to join their team in San Diego, CA. They are a reputable and successful law firm specializing in employment litigation.

Job Description

  • Looking for associates with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our client's labor and employment management-side team in San Diego.
  • This is an on-site position located at the XYZ office in San Diego.
  • Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and extensive experience in employment litigation.
  • Must possess in-depth knowledge of State and Federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, FMLA, and related legislation.
  • Required to handle case preparation for employment matters before state and federal agencies and courts.
  • Ability to independently handle responsibilities such as attending hearings, drafting and responding to discovery, and preparing motions for federal and state court.
  • Expected to manage cases through to trial.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in employment litigation.
  • Received JD between 2016-2018.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Graduated from a reputable law school.
  • Proficient in State and Federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, FMLA, and related laws.
  • Experience in case preparation for employment matters.
  • Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities with minimal guidance.
  • Strong skills in attending hearings, drafting and responding to discovery, drafting motions, and trial preparation.
