Job Description

• Join our client's prestigious law firm and represent employers in various employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, wage disputes, class actions, and compliance with federal/state employment laws
• Draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and efficiently manage discovery processes
• Confidently handle depositions and conduct witness interviews
• Provide invaluable guidance to employers on employment law compliance, including ADA, FMLA, CFRA, and COVID-related regulations, as well as disability accommodations and leave policies
• Opportunity to engage in labor relations endeavors, such as labor negotiations, handling grievances, and participating in arbitrations

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of substantial experience in employment litigation
• In-depth understanding of California employment law
• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and effectively managing discovery procedures
• Trial or arbitration experience would be highly advantageous
• Ability to provide sound advice on federal and state labor laws
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
• Must be admitted to the California Bar
