Job Description

  • Achieve representation for employers in employment litigation cases, covering areas like discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes, class and collective actions, as well as federal/state employment law compliance
  • Prepare and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct thorough legal research and effectively manage discovery processes
  • Conduct depositions and interviews with witnesses
  • Offer advice and guidance to employers regarding employment law compliance, including ADA, FMLA, CFRA, and COVID-related regulations, as well as disability accommodations and leave policies
  • Potential involvement in labor relations activities, such as labor negotiations, handling grievances, and participating in arbitrations

Qualifications

  • Strong experience of 4-7 years in employment litigation
  • Thorough knowledge of California employment law
  • Proficient in legal research, drafting, and managing discovery processes
  • Preference for candidates with trial or arbitration experience
  • Ability to provide sound advice on federal and state labor laws
  • Outstanding analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Must be admitted to the California Bar

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
