Legal Assistant – Probate
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client’s Ormond Beach, FL office.

Our client is a leading Florida elder law attorney with a practice focused on helping seniors plan for long-term care, navigate disability and end-of-life legal issues, and manage probate and guardianship matters. The firm primarily serves clients in Volusia and Flagler Counties and is led by an award-winning elder law attorney who has held multiple leadership roles with the Florida Bar Elder Law Section.
Job Description
- Draft and file probate pleadings and related court documents
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and other parties regarding probate matters
- Track deadlines and maintain organized case files
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals handling probate and estate matters
- Schedule meetings, court dates, and client communications
- Assist with client intake and data entry for probate cases
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of probate law experience in Florida (required)
- Experience with Florida probate filings, procedures, and court systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Ormond Beach
- Professional demeanor and discretion with sensitive matters
