Litigation Paralegal

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client's Boca Raton, FL office.

About Our Client: Our client is a reputable law firm specializing in personal injury and property damage cases. Situated in Boca Raton, Florida, they are known for providing outstanding legal services. Currently, they are looking for a highly dedicated Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

  • Assist attorneys in the management and preparation of cases.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry and maintaining attorney schedules.
  • Schedule and coordinate depositions, meetings, mediations, and hearings.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe to manage documents effectively.
  • File legal documents electronically using Florida’s E-Portal System.
  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and subpoenas.
  • Maintain clear and efficient communication with clients and other parties involved.
  • Arrange virtual hearings using Court Calls or Zoom.
  • Execute any other assigned duties related to the role.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in litigation.
  • Preferably possess trial experience.
  • Prior experience with electronic filing in both state and federal courts is a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be a team player.
