Job Description

  • Take charge of the family law practice, overseeing attorneys and staff
  • Manage case strategies from intake to resolution, focusing on complex divorce, custody, and support cases
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
  • Prioritize client satisfaction and promptly respond to all client communications
  • Establish and implement office policies, procedures, and financial management, including billing and collections
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review case progress and enhance office performance

Qualifications

  • Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the Maryland Bar
  • Possess at least 8 years of experience in family law, including divorce, custody, and support cases
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience, leading a legal team
  • Demonstrate strong litigation and courtroom skills
  • Exhibit excellent communication and relationship management abilities with clients
  • Show strategic thinking and efficient management of a high caseload
  • Proficient in legal research and case management software
