Job Description
- Take on the role of Senior Attorney, overseeing and leading the family law practice
- Manage and supervise a team of attorneys and support staff
- Develop case strategies and handle complex divorce, custody, and support cases
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediation sessions, and negotiations
- Prioritize client satisfaction and ensure prompt communication
- Implement office policies, procedures, and financial management, including billing and collections
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss case progress and improve office performance
Qualifications
- Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active and in good standing with the Maryland Bar Association
- 8+ years of experience in family law, specializing in divorce, custody, and support cases
- Preferably have at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role, leading a legal team
- Demonstrated litigation skills and courtroom experience
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities with clients
- Strategic thinker with the ability to handle a high caseload efficiently
- Proficient in legal research and case management software
