Job Description

  • Take on the role of Senior Attorney, overseeing and leading the family law practice
  • Manage and supervise a team of attorneys and support staff
  • Develop case strategies and handle complex divorce, custody, and support cases
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediation sessions, and negotiations
  • Prioritize client satisfaction and ensure prompt communication
  • Implement office policies, procedures, and financial management, including billing and collections
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss case progress and improve office performance

Qualifications

  • Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active and in good standing with the Maryland Bar Association
  • 8+ years of experience in family law, specializing in divorce, custody, and support cases
  • Preferably have at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role, leading a legal team
  • Demonstrated litigation skills and courtroom experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities with clients
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to handle a high caseload efficiently
  • Proficient in legal research and case management software
