Job Description

• Assist providers and other members of the clinic healthcare team in performing back-office and patient-related tasks
• Ensure a smooth patient workflow within the department
• Provide a variety of patient care procedures within the scope of practice as defined by the facility
• Tasks may include injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws, measuring vital signs, managing rooming and patient flow, and informing the provider of schedule changes that impact patient flow

Qualifications

• Active license in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Certified (National certifications must still become credentialed through the WA State Department of Health)
• Minimum of 1 year of prior Medical Assistant experience
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems, Epic preferred
• Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification
