Job Description
- Active license in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Certified (National certifications must still become credentialed through the WA State Department of Health)
- Minimum of 1 year of prior Medical Assistant experience
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems, with experience in Epic preferred
- Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position is a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) who can assist providers and other members of the clinic healthcare team. They must be able to perform various back-office and patient-related tasks to ensure a smooth patient workflow. Responsibilities may include administering injections, conducting EKG's and blood draws, measuring vital signs, managing patient flow, and updating the provider on schedule changes.
