Job Description

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures to generate diagnostic images
• Provide patient care and education pre and post-procedure
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Participate in performance improvement activities and infection prevention/control management
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
• Prepare patients and imaging rooms for procedures
• Communicate effectively with other caregivers to ensure continuous and appropriate patient care
• Maintain patient, department, and hospital records
• Perform equipment quality control and routine maintenance
• Treat patients and families with dignity and respect

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or have Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board registration
• Hold a Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of employment
