Job Description
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures to generate diagnostic images
- Provide patient care and education pre and post-procedure
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in performance improvement activities and infection prevention/control management
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Prepare patients and imaging rooms for procedures
- Communicate effectively with other caregivers to ensure continuous and appropriate patient care
- Maintain patient, department, and hospital records
- Perform equipment quality control and routine maintenance
- Treat patients and families with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or have Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board registration
- Hold a Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health
- Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of employment
