About Our Client

Our client is a progressive plaintiff personal injury law firm committed to representing individuals injured due to negligence. They are in the process of expanding their team and are searching for a dynamic Legal Assistant to support their attorneys in managing a variety of personal injury cases.

Job Description

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury litigation, from case initiation to resolution.
• Conduct initial client interviews and schedule formal intakes.
• Summarize and review medical records and bills.
• Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain case calendars.
• Draft legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, and motions.
• Initiate insurance claims and communicate with adjusters.
• Conduct research and gather evidence for pre-litigation investigations.
• Respond to discovery requests and draft necessary documents.
• Prepare and file court documents accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff or defense).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a bonus but not required.
