Our client is a prominent law firm specializing in personal injury litigation, committed to representing individuals who have suffered injuries due to negligence. They are currently looking for a dedicated Legal Assistant to assist their team in handling various personal injury cases.

Job Description

• Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, from case initiation to resolution.
• Conduct initial client interviews and coordinate formal intakes.
• Analyze and summarize medical records and invoices.
• Organize case files, monitor deadlines, and upkeep case schedules.
• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Initiate insurance claims and liaise with adjusters.
• Conduct research and gather evidence for pre-litigation inquiries.
• Create and respond to discovery requests.
• Submit and file court documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff or defense).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
• Knowledge of Spanish is advantageous, but not mandatory.
