Physical Therapist Assistant – Job Description
- Provide hands-on treatment sessions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and progress
- Encourage patient accountability for attendance and adherence to therapy programs
- Document each visit accurately and update treatment plans as necessary
- Follow the therapist’s plan of care and communicate any patient updates
- Supervise therapy technicians to ensure smooth treatment sessions
- Maintain case management records and productivity reports
- Support marketing efforts as needed
Qualifications
- Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting
- Wyoming Physical Therapist Assistant Certification or eligibility to obtain
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Passion for helping patients achieve recovery goals
