Job Description

• Lead the rehabilitation services department, overseeing personnel, budget, and equipment resources.
• Evaluate patients and develop personalized plans of care.
• Deliver direct physical therapy care and ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
• Manage rehabilitative services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with infection control policies.
• Recruit, train, and retain departmental personnel.
• Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to prepare the department's annual budget.
• Develop, review, and revise departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Kansas with experience in acute care, emergency room, swing bed, and outpatient settings.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing optimal patient care and adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to participate in educational programs and continuing education.
