Job Description

• Administer photon and electron radiation and assist in brachytherapy procedures under the guidance of the radiation oncologist
• Perform simulations and construct shielding blocks
• Accurately document all duties performed and participate in quality assurance activities
• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to prescription and instructions
• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize work efficiently
• Operate imaging, therapeutic, and medical equipment safely and competently
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Cross train in other areas to enhance operational effectiveness

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (RTT)
• Licensed in the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy (LRTT)
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience required
• Experience with TrueBeam, Trilogy, and Aria strongly preferred
