Job Description:

• Take the lead on legal matters concerning redevelopment and public finance projects
• Prepare, review, and negotiate redevelopment agreements and associated legal documents
• Offer guidance to governmental bodies on state and federal tax incentive programs
• Manage intricate financing structures for redevelopment projects
• Handle client representation in bond issuances and capital endeavors
• Participate in client meetings, occasionally extending into the evening
• Directly engage with clients to provide strategic and timely legal advice

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• New Jersey bar admission required
• At least 7 years of experience in New Jersey redevelopment law and public finance
• Solid track record in negotiating redevelopment agreements and managing structured finance transactions
• Experience in advising governmental entities and navigating incentives at state and federal levels
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
