Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the XYZ office.

Our client, a leading law firm specializing in employment law, is seeking a highly experienced Virtual Employment Attorney. This is a full-time remote position.

Job Description:

• Handle and manage a wide range of employment litigation cases
• Provide legal advice and counsel on employment law matters
• Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and arguments
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Negotiate settlements and participate in settlement conferences
• Keep updated with changes in employment laws and regulations
• Attend client meetings and maintain effective communication

Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years of experience as an employment attorney
• Strong background in employment litigation defense
• Previous experience working with school third-party administrator employment panels
• Expertise in school district defense in employment law
• Trial experience is a plus
• Knowledge of class/PAGA inclusive
• Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees
• Active membership with the State Bar of California
• Superior research, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Proactive approach to case management
