About Our Client

Our client, a leading law firm specializing in workers’ compensation, employment law, general liability, state audits, and subrogation, is seeking a highly experienced Employment Legal Counsel with a minimum of 15 years of experience. This is a Full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Job Description:

• Utilize well-established and exclusive employment litigation and defense background to provide legal counsel
• Work closely with third-party administrators employed by educational institutions
• Offer expert defense experience in school district employment law matters
• Possess extensive knowledge of class/PAGA inclusive
• Conduct superior research, analysis, and negotiations
• Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Show commitment to proactive case management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees
• Must be a member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• Minimum of 15 years of employment law defense experience
• Trial experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with public entity defense is a plus

Pay: $220,000 - $250,000 per year
