Job Description
- Provide specialized respiratory assessment and care to patients with respiratory disorders, following treatment plans and protocols.
- Work closely with the attending physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care.
- Responsible for implementing respiratory therapy interventions, including administering medications, managing ventilators, and performing diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to respiratory therapy interventions.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA accredited two-year Respiratory Care Practitioner education program (or equivalent criteria for state regulatory requirements).
- Hold a CRT or RRT credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), and a valid State of Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner Certification/License.
- Preferably have at least 2 years of experience.
