Job Description

• Manage the revenue cycle operations of the Hospital and Medical Group, ensuring a high-functioning department.
• Oversee patient accounting functions for hospital and professional billing.
• Supervise the daily operations of the billing, follow-up, and denial processes.
• Create work schedules, monitor performance, and resolve technical and project issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, business, or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Past experience in physician billing, leadership, and Epic software.
• Strong knowledge of patient registration, billing, accounts receivable, cash management, managed care contractual terms, financial reporting, and industry standards for healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Ability to lead and manage diverse staff in a dynamic learning environment.
• Excellent management and team-building skills with the ability to provide clear direction.
• Proficient in interpreting 3rd party payer contract requirements and implementing compliant procedures.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with various stakeholders.
