Job Description

  • Lead comprehensive failure analysis investigations on power integrated circuits (ICs) to identify root causes of product failures.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to perform fault isolation and defect characterization.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports summarizing findings and recommended corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to address technical concerns.
  • Collaborate with design, process, and quality teams to drive product improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in failure analysis of power semiconductors, analog, or mixed-signal ICs.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ATE, curve tracers, micro-probing, OBIRCH, EMMI microscopy, CSAM, XRAY, FIB, SEM/EDX, and manual cross-sectioning techniques.
  • Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits, device physics, and IC fabrication processes.
  • Ability to interpret IC ATE test data logs, system-level schematics, and IC layouts.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Candidates with experience in customer interfacing and automotive failure analysis will be given special consideration.
