Job Description

• Provide professional social work services, assessing and resolving problems impacting overall health and well-being, including discharge planning.
• Utilize supportive counseling techniques, offer crisis interventions, and facilitate therapeutic, support, and education groups to help patients cope with lifestyle changes caused by illness or disability.
• Represent our client in community boards and task forces when necessary.
• Stay updated on changes in laws related to social work practice.
• Adhere to ethical codes established by the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the state of Ohio as a Social Worker with a Master's degree (MSW).
• LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC certification is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience is desired.
